Singer/songwriter Rj Cowdery was a co-winner of the coveted 2007 Mountain Stage NewSong Contest with some of the songs featured on this anticipated new release.  "One More Door" was recorded with Michael Lipton and Ammed Solomon of the Mountain Stage Band and Don Dixon, producer of REM and Marshall Crenshaw.  West Virginia folk music icon Todd Burge produced the effort.

This early acoustic release features Rj Cowdery's well-crafted songs about growing up in a small town along the Ohio river.  With influences ranging from Mary Chapin Carpenter to Nancy Griffith, these heart felt lyrics are perfectly complimented by a beautiful voice and talented guitar licks.
